These shots were from the opening of a new power station in Kwinana, Western Australia today. As you can see the power station generators are painted a very bright blue which is certainly a pleasant change from the normal battleship grey we see so often…

Magazine Ad…

This shot below was for a US and UK magazine Ad for a marine services company. It was a little tricky as we had to complete the shot “in camera” and not rely on any cgi, so after a few tests with different tablets and methods of getting it in the correct position we ended up with this shot. Razoreye who were my client and art directing the shoot then put the ad together and added the trident to the fizzing tablet.

Elder Street Car Park…

The shots below were from a shoot today for the opening of a new “green” car park here in Perth. It was opened by the Lord Mayor of Perth, Lisa Scaffidi on a very stormy morning, luckily the presentation took place inside! The shoot gave me a chance to try out my new Canon 17mm TS lens which I have purchased to compliment the 24mm TS I already own and so far it’s looking pretty amazing. I’m looking forward to trying it out on some landscapes.

Here are a few shots of a new building in Perth’s CBD, it’s a stunner and pretty close to finished… The detail and artwork in the foyer and public areas is amazing as you can see from the “wire tree” in the lobby shot below.
