The images below are a few shots taken from a shoot in the CBD today of the St Georges Terrace Streetscape Enhancement and the St Martins Redevelopment. Most of these below were taken with the Leica M9 and WATE and a few with the 5D MKII and 70-200mm.

    mervfrench - That little Leica is getting a workout Mark.

    That top one qualifies as a altered landscape.

    Excuse my ignorance but what is the WATE? i presume a lens of some kind.

    admin - Cheers Merv, yes the Leica seems to be getting more and more work – I shot with the Canon to but as keeps happening my favorites seem to be the Leica shots. At some point I will be brave enough to go out solo without the Canon! The WATE stands for Wide Angle Tri Elmar and it’s Leica’s M fit 16 – 18 – 21 lens – great lens, very expensive but works well for interiors and some of the site shoots I do…
